Leamington Flyers 2025–26 Home Opener Set for September 11th

LEAMINGTON, ON – Hockey is back in Leamington as the Flyers hit the ice Thursday, September 11th, for their 2025–26 home opener against the Georgetown Raiders. Puck drop is set for 7:10 p.m.

The Flyers enter the new season with a mix of fresh faces and key returning players ready to make an impact. Veterans bring experience and leadership, while new additions add speed and depth across the lineup. Together, the team is focused on delivering fast, hard-nosed hockey.

“Opening night in Leamington is always special,” said Dale Mitchell, General Manager & Head Coach. “Our fans bring incredible energy, and this group is ready to feed off it. With our returning leaders and new talent, we’re confident this team will play the kind of competitive hockey our community expects.”

Last season, Leamington finished first in the Western Conference with 94 points, proving their consistency and edge. After a hard-fought playoff run that ended in the Western Conference Finals against the Milton Menace, the Flyers are motivated to push even further this year.

Tickets for the home opener are available for purchase on game day at the door or online here. Fans are encouraged to wear their red and white and help make the rink electric. The Flyers start on the road in Caledon against the Caledon Admirals on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
