Coming down to the wire, after dropping two straight games, the Leamington Flyers shifted to Stratford for a deciding Game 7 against the Warriors.
In a winner takes all affair, it was a matter of who would crack first. Skating through a scoreless opening 20 minutes, the Flyers would eventually break through with Connor MacPherson scoring on the power play. For MacPherson it would be the first of three goals on the evening for the 17 year-old. While his brother Ryan would also get in on the scoring as he registered a goal of his own. Bryce Walcarius was in net, posting a shutout in his last junior hockey game, with the Flyers prevailing infront of a solid out Warriors crowd, 4-0.
