LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO – Fans will see plenty Flyers red and white at the Hudl-Instat Prospects Game this year.
The event, which is part of the 2023-24 OJHL All Star Celebration, presented by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, will take place on Saturday, January 13th in Collingwood.
Leamington is sending six players in total, the most from any team in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Goaltender, Sebastian Gatto, forwards Darian Anderson, Griffin Grunder, Cameron Arquette and Max Anderson and defenseman Jason Davenport will participate for Team West
“We are really happy for the guys that made it,” Flyers head coach, Dale Mitchell states. “It’s a credit to their hard work and attention to detail. It’s great for our program to see these guys get recognition they deserve.”
All-Star weekend begins with the OJHL Skills Competition on Friday, January 12th, followed by the OJHL Alumni game and the Prospects Game on Saturday, January 13th.
The OJHL All Star Game will start Saturday at 5pm.
The Leamington Flyers start the 2024 portion of their schedule on Friday, January 5th, when they travel to Collingwood for a 7:00pm start. The Flyers’ next home game is Thursday, January 11th at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre when they host the Lindsay Muskies at 7:10pm.
