Flyers Draw Jr Sabres In Semi-Finals

LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO – The Leamington Flyers will be crossing the border to find their next opponent in the 2025 OJHL playoffs.

After finishing a first-round sweep of Niagara Falls, the Flyers now welcome the Buffalo Jr Sabres, who come in as the fourth seed in the West Conference after beating Toronto in six games.

Leamington went 3-1 against Buffalo in the regular season, but the two teams have not seen each other since December 15th.

Brayden Degelas and Colton Smith had three goals against the Jr. Sabres this season, while Gavin Grundner had a goal and four assists and brother, Griffin Grundner had two goals and two assists.

Goaltender, Marcus Vandenberg was 2-0 against Buffalo, stopping 47 of 49 shots he faced.
