LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO – Windsor native, Cayden Faust will be joining the Leamington Flyers for the 2023-24 season.
The 20-year-old is the newest addition to the Flyers roster that will be part of the club’s inaugural year in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
“I’m very excited to get started with the Flyers,” Faust states. “It’s a very special opportunity to play Junior A hockey for an organization like this in front of family and friends.”
Faust has spent the last two seasons with the Navan Grads of the CCHL, the last season serving as an assistant captain.
He posted 32 goals and 48 assists for 78 points in 99 CCHL games, including 44 points in 45 games last year.
Faust also spent time in the GOJHL with the LaSalle Vipers in the 2019-2020 season.
We are thrilled to have Cayden join our team,” Flyers general manager, Justin Solcz says. “He is a veteran player from Essex County who has played at a high level of junior hockey. We expect him to have a big impact on and off the ice with our team this season.”
The Leamington Flyers open the 2023-24 OJHL schedule on Thursday, September 7th when they host the Buffalo Jr. Sabres at 7:10pm at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre.
